kVp values are lower than filter wheel limits; appears at (Radiographic Mode)
the extreme right of the display.
Corrective Action: For more accurate results, select the next lower filter wheel
position and retry.
OVERRANGE
(Fluoroscopic Mode)
Signal level too high for kVp measurement.
Corrective Action: Select the next higher filter wheel position if possible,
increase distance, or decrease mA.
HIGH
(Fluoroscopic Mode)
kVp values have exceeded the filter wheel limits; appears (Fluoroscopic Mode)
at the extreme right of the display.
Corrective Action: For more accurate results, select the next higher filter wheel
position and retry.
LOW
(Fluoroscopic Mode)
kVp values are below the limits of the filter wheel; (Fluoroscopic Mode)
appears at the extreme right of the display.
Corrective Action: For more accurate results, select the next lower filter wheel
position and retry.
CHK Error HI
(CHK Radiographic
Mode)
Model 4000M+ has failed the CHK test.
Corrective Action: Check detector and X-ray Machine settings and retry.
CHK Error LO

Use 21-50 Filter
Corrective Action: Rotate the filter wheel to the 21-50 filter position.
Value is too large to display.
Corrective Action: Check filter wheel position and sensitivity selection and
retry.

In general, slight out of range readings are acceptable. This is a warning message only. In addition,
a LO error message may be encountered even though all kVps are within the selected filter range;
the LO indication is displayed when any peak is below the range.
For example, at the 70-120 Filter Range, a HIGH error message may be displayed if the reading is
120.5. Obviously this reading is not very far out of range and so it may be considered a good
reading.
