Press the button with an appropriate steam level indicator (

B2, B3 or B4) on the boiler B

according to the selected material and the level set on the thermostat control dial

A2. The

button indicator will be lit intermittently (flash) which signals the generation of steam. As

soon as the indicator is lit permanently, the steam has been formed in the boiler

B. Grab

the handle

A5 of the iron, press and hold button (control) A4 to generate steam. The flow

of steam stops when the button (control)

A4 is released.

Warning

– For all normal ironing the middle adjustment of the steam amount is recommended.

Only on ironing the linen fabric, thick cotton and similar fabrics the adjustment of the

steam amount to maximum value is recommended. Setting to high-pressure steam

ironing os recommended only if the regulation wheel

A2 is set to temperature setting •••

or MAX.

– When ironing, make sure that the steam inlet hose

A6 is not wrung, pinched or broken.

– If you do not use the steam for several minutes, direct the iron away from the clothing

and press the steam button (control)

A4 several times to remove condensed water in

the steam system.

– The pump will turn on during the steam generation, which is accompanied by

a characteristic sound. It is completely normal and does not represent a reason for

a sales return.

– When using starch, pour it on the wrong side of the ironed surface and increase the

steam generation.

– When ironing thick fabric, increase the steam generation; when ironing at low

temperature, select the low steam generation.

– Do not use the iron with the steam generation when the thermostat control dial is set to

a temperature below one dot.

– You can also rest the iron in a “vertical” position but you have to make sure that it rests

on a stable and flat surface to prevent the iron from falling accidentally.

VeRTICAL STeAMING (Fig. 6)

It is intensive vertical steaming for steaming of freely hanging textiles (such as hanging

clothes, draperies, hangings). Set the regulation wheel

A2 to the marked area for steaming

(Fig. 2). Press the button with an appropriate steam level indicator (

B2, B3 or B4) on the

boiler

B according to the selected material and the level set on the thermostat control dial

The flow of steam stops when the button (control)

A4 is released. Stretch the fabric slightly

with one hand and move the iron vertically bottom-up.
