OPeRATING INSTRUCTIONS
Dear customer, thank you for purchasing our product. Prior to putting this device into
operation, please read these instructions for use carefully and be sure to store well
these instructions along with the warranty card, receipt and, if possible, also the product
packaging and its inner contents.
eTA x865-line vacuum cleaners are designed to be used for cleaning not only dry surfaces
but also materials containing water or water itself as well as for ‘wet’ cleaning of carpeting,
upholstery, windows, floors, car interiors etc.
I. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
– before putting the appliance into operation for the first time, read carefully the User’s
Manual, study the diagrams shown in it and keep the Manual for future reference.
Consider the instructions for use as a part of the appliance and pass them on to any
other user of the appliance.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge
if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning
and user maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision. Children younger than 8 years must be kept out of
reach of the appliance and its power cord.

If a vacuum cleaner can be equipped with a hand-held accessory
with rotating parts a warning has to be given concerning
entrapment.

Never use the appliance if its power cord or plug is damaged, if
it does not work properly, if it fell down and was damaged. In this
case take the appliance to a special service
to check its safety and proper function.

If the power cord of the appliance is corrupted, it has to be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service technician or a similarly
qualified person so as to prevent dangerous situations.

before replacing accessories or accessible parts, which move
during operation, before assembly and disassembly, before
cleaning or maintenance, turn off the appliance and disconnect it
from the mains by pulling the power cord from the power socket!

Always unplug the appliance from power supply if you leave it
unattended and before assembly, disassembly or cleaning.
