Preface

The devolo dLAN duo is a HomePlug adapter for data communications over the
household electrical power supply network. With its Ethernet and USB ports, the
dLAN adapter lets you set up or expand a home network easily and economi-
cally. Functions such as copying or moving files, using shared printers or access-
ing the Internet are all realized via existing power lines in your home. With the
dLAN duo, any electrical socket in your home can be used as a network connec-
tion—from the basement to the attic.
