22 Initial use
devolo dLAN TV Sat 2400-CI+
Note that you will need another dLAN
AV adapter in each case to connect
HbbTV and DLNA (media server) to the
dLAN network (see 2.3 Sample applica-
tions).
To avoid electrical damage when con-
necting the dLAN TV Sat 2400-CI+, al-
ways use the power pack supplied. The
power pack is designed to supply elec-
trical devices with 12 V DC. Make sure
there is a separate power supply when
connecting several devices.
3.7.1 First use
ቢ After you have successfully connected your
dLAN TV Sat 2400-CI+ to all components, switch
the device on.
ባ Then switch on the TV set.
If you have connected the devices by HDMI,
select the corresponding output to display
the TV image.
ቤ Press the button for the signal input on the TV set
(usually at the side) or on the remote control. The
dLAN TV Sat 2400-CI+ will take a few seconds to
start.
ብ The TV and radio software assistant will then start
automatically. For more information, refer to the
next chapter 4 TV and radio programme.
