Application #9 — Network Address Translation (NAT)

NAT allows for a one-to-one mapping of internal IP

addresses to external IP addresses. This could be

helpful when accessing duplicate systems that are

configured the same. The actual LAN-side addresses

are hidden. Notice that the LAN and WAN subnets

are different.
