To prevent not expertise persons changing the printer setup parameters, it is possible to lock/unlock
the access to the printer setups as follows:
• Press
ON LINE
,
MACRO
and
TEAR
keys at the same time and keep them pressed while
powering the printer on until the display shows RELEASE KEYS message. As soon as these
keys are released, the following messages will be displayed:
STARTING UP
then,
10300 ver. x.xxx
then,
LOCKED MENU
Now the access to the printer setups is locked. If the
PROGRAM
key is pressed, the LOCKED MENU
message is displayed (the
PROGRAM
key is disabled).
• If you decide to unlock the printer setup, turn the printer off, then press the
ON LINE
,
MACRO
and
TEAR
keys at the same time and keep them pressed while powering the printer on again
until the display shows RELEASE KEYS message. As soon as these keys are released, the
following messages will be displayed:
STARTING UP
then,
10300 ver. x.xxx
then,
UNLOCKED MENU
