3.3 - Prefixes/Suffixes


Prefix
Add up to 256 alphanumeric characters as a prefix in the text field. These characters will
appear in the output before the scanned bar code data (Figure 23).

Suffix
Add up to 256 alphanumeric characters as a suffix in the text field. These characters will
appear in the output after the scanned bar code data (Figure 23).

Escape Sequences (Special Characters)
Escape sequences are prefix/suffix encoding. Type the escape sequence (eg. /n) into the prefix or
suffix fields to enable the described action.

\n = New line
\r = Carriage Return
\b = Backspace
\t = Vertical Tab
\\ = Slash (\)
