RECOMMENDED TEST EQUIPMENT
Codan Radio Communications recommends the following test equipment for maintenance of an MT-4E
radio system:

It is recommended that when in the shop / service area, the Communications Service Monitor be
frequency locked to an external reference (WWVH, GPS, Loran C) so that the high stability local
oscillator may be accurately set to within its ±1 ppm frequency tolerance.
The test equipment should be calibrated on an annual basis to ensure accurate measurements.
