NOTE:
For best results when using Cetacea Sound Corp speaker systems: Plug the
receiver into the Cetacea speaker BEFORE the power supply cord is plugged into
the speaker. This will prevent unwarranted and surprising noises. Once the cable
is plugged in, the power supply cord can be plugged in.
Rotate the volume knob on the receiver to ¾ volume. Stand away from the sound
system as you slowly turn the volume up on the transmitter until a comfortable
listening volume is reached.
Technical Trick
Once you are comfortable using the CVS16-UK and the Cetacea Sound speaker,
here is a tip that will help prevent inadvertent feedback. Turn the volume control
on the receiver all the way down. Turn the volume control on the transmitter all the
up. Stand in an area of the room where you will be doing most of your speaking.
Have someone help you slowly turn up the volume on the receiver until feedback is
heard or the volume becomes too loud, whichever occurs fi rst. Have your assistant
turn the volume down on the receiver until it reaches a comfortable listening level.
This is the maximum volume level that can be used in this particular room and
now ONLY use the volume control on the transmitter to adjust the volume. Leave
the volume control on the receiver where it was previously set as long as you use
the CVS16U in this room.
