Measurement Units: Metric Or Inches
To set the machine for programming in mm or inches:
First with power on, push the RESET button on the machine.
Next, on the keypad of the hand held terminal, (see diagram
page 28) note the blank “Shift” key.
Press SHIFT KEY, then “9”, (which corresponds to “U”).
The display should say
“English /metric, 0/1”.
Then Push 1 to select metric dimensions, 0 to select inches.
When shifting between English or metric, any shape in the
machine should be reprogrammed; the machine will not
convert numbers already entered.
