This check box turns on an auxiliary 5V power supply.
5V Aux Voltage For smaller installation (where no centralized GPI/O supply is in
place) it may be used as the feed for the GPIs and or to drive
destinations of the GPOs.
GPI Assignment Here you must assign the 8 physical GPIs a unique GPI number. If
the GPI is activated by an external voltage of 5V or higher, the
C8817 puts this number on the CAN bus as a GPIxyz On
command.
If the activation voltage disappears from the input, the C8817 puts
this number again on the CAN bus as a GPIxyz Off command.
Invert Input The check box inverts the logic of the GPI, i.e. an input which must
normally be activated becomes inactive if you apply a voltage >3V.
The soft button allows to test the function without involving the
source or destination modules for GPI/Os.
GPO Assignment Here you must assign a unique GPO number for the 8 physical
GPOs (relays). If the C8817 reads a GPOxyz On command on the
CAN bus it activates the respective relay. If the C8817 reads the
GPOxyz Off command on the CAN bus it deactivates that relay.
Invert Output The check box inverts the logic of the GPOs. A NC output
becomes a NO and vice versa.
