Performing IMPORTANT: The function test
function test should be performed weekly.
For the function test, press the
button for 10 seconds. A loud
pulsating alarm should sound,
which should then fall silent
when the button is released.
The LED should blink rapidly
during the functiontests.

Maintenance
The smoke alarm is largely maintenance free ex-
cept for changing the battery. When a tone starts
sounding once every minute, the battery is nearly
dead and needs to be replaced immediately.
This warning continues for a period of 7 days
before the battery is completely discharged.
After this, there is no more power supply.
