vicinity or surroundings of the gas source.
4.5 Function check/-test
Important: The function test must be performed
weekly.
• Operational readiness: make sure that the green
light burns continuously.
• If the green light goes out, check the power
supply first. If the power supply is secure, and
the green light still does not come on, this
means that the gas detector is defective and
must be repaired or replaced.
• Test button: press the test button. The gas
detector must emit an alarm as long as you hold
the button down.
5. Maintenance
Aside from the function check, the gas detector is
maintenance free. Clean the housing cover once a
month with a damp cloth to remove accumulated
dust particles.
