EON TA LOCAL/DISTANCE mode
Press and hold TA button to select EON TA LOCAL/EON TA DISTANCE mode.
The purpose of this mode is to reduce unwanted interference caused by EON TA switching due to
weak signal strength, resulting in the radio being switched back to the current tuned station, or
being muted.
EON TA LOCAL: When the field strength level of EON linked stations is below the threshold level,
the radio will not switch to that station, avoiding unnecessary interference. When EONTA LOCAL
mode is selected, “EONTA LO” on numeric display is indicated for a few seconds.
EON TA DISTANCE: EON TA switching will be determined by the information of the current station.
When EONTA DISTANCE mode is selected, EONTA DX on numeric display is indicated for a few
seconds.
