GSO Regular (Reg) & Low Profile (LP) Focus Motor Installation
Step 1: Remove left single-speed
focus knob. Step 2: : Make sure set screw on
focus knob shaft is flush (not sticking
out) and press gear onto focus knob
shaft all the way. Step 3: Reattach left single-speed
focus knob.
Step 4: Remove Remove both
adjustment screws and Phillips
head screw between them (if
focuser has speed reducer) Step 5: Insert silver allen set-screw
into TOP adjustment hole and tighten
with allen wrench until focus knob
lifts eyepiece tube with good friction. Step 6: If focuser does NOT have
speed reducer, place spacer on
silver set-screw.
if focuser DOES have speed
reducer, SKIP this step 9do not put
spacer on silver set-screw)
Step 7: Attach bracket LOOSELY
using short button head screw in
middle hole (if focuser has one) and
long button head screw in bottom
hole
with spacer underneath
bracket.
Tighten screw in center hole first
then screw in bottom hole.
Step 8: Attach motor using red thumb
screws and springs and tighten to
engage motor.
Using supplied allen wrench, you can
adjust position of gear on motor shaft
to align with gear on focuser shaft.
Step 9: Plug motor into controller
and you’re ready to run! For manual
operation, loosen red thumb screws
to disengage motor.

purchaser of its product that the product will be
free of defects in material or workmanship 5
years from the date of purchase under normal
use.During this warranty period, Rigel Systems
will, at its option, repair or replace the product
without charge for parts or labor when delivered
to Rigel Systems with proof of the date of
purchase and a statement of the problem with
the product. Shipping and handling charges to
Rigel Systems are your responsibility. This
warranty does not apply if the product has been
altered or repaired by anyone other than Rigel
Systems or has been subjected to purchaser
abuse, accident, negligence or damage
subsequent to purchase including battery
damage to product. This warranty excludes
incidental or consequential damages resulting
from the product or use of the product. The
product is not a toy. Keep away from children.
