Making a modem dial-up connection
To make a modem dial-up connection:
1. Connect a phone jack to the RJ-11 jack at the rear of
the Flybook V5 to use the built-in modem.
2. In the Network Connections panel, double-click the icon
of the component you wish to use to make the connec-
tion.
Once the connection is established, the icon shows “con-
nected”. Click the icon to open the status window to check
or stop the connection, or open its connection properties
window and configure this connection component.
Windows supports other modem dial-up connection utilities.

line helps to learn how to create and make connections.
