d) Using a Phillips-head screwdriver loosen the recoil pad screws until the recoil
pad comes free (Fig. 4).

e) Using a ½” socket or a flat blade screwdriver engage and unscrew the stock bolt
counterclockwise.
Do NOT attempt to load or fire the firearm without a buttstock or pistol grip
attached. Doing so may result in damage to the firearm and injury to the
shooter and/or others nearby.
