Forend Grip (Chainsaw)
The Chainsaw-style Forend Grip is designed to mount on a Picatinny rail and
provides a stable and ergonomic grip with a pistol grip shotgun.
Refer to your firearm’s manual for complete safety
information. Manuals for Mossberg firearms are available at
www.mossberg.com or by contacting the Product Service
Center.
Do not use the Forend Grip alone to carry your firearm. The
weight of the firearm may allow the action to close and point
the firearm in an unsafe direction.
Before use, ensure that the Forend Grip is securely tightened
to the Picatinny rail using all three screws provided. The
recommended torque of the screws is 30 – 35 inch pounds.
Before use, ensure that the locking lugs on the Forend Grip
are engaged into a slot in the Picatinny rail. Failure to engage
the locking lugs can result in damage to the forend grip or the
Picatinny rail and may result in personal injury.
Before use, ensure that the Forend Grip is securely attached
to the forend. The photo below shows a typical position and
orientation of the forend grip.
