18. Press the prop rod onto the snap fitting
joint/fastener until it snaps into place.
19. Tighten but do not torque down the four (4)
nuts that secure the hood to the hood mounting
brackets.
20. Slowly close the hood. Be careful not to
damage the LPE hood or fenders. Check the
hood lines and make a note of where you need
to adjust the hood from the passenger and driver
side.
17. Using a 13 mm deep well socket, install
the prop rod snap joiny fitting into the ram air
hood. Be sure to have an assistant hold the hood
up while you install the hood prop rod. Take care
to ensure this is tight and secure but be sure to
not overtighten.
