Debriefi ng
Following the procedure, the learner will be assessed as to how well he or she performed the proce-
dure. To view the debriefing screen, push the advance button after performing the procedure.
The top of the Debriefing screen shows your total score, the procedure and C-band times, whether
you have successfully completed the procedure, the case level, and other information.
The assessment screen presents Cannulation events, Critical Errors and Non-Critical Errors.
Cannulation events present general subcutaneous animations of what occurred during your cannula-
tion attempts. For example, if the angle of insertion was too steep, the video will display the con-
sequences of a steep insertion. Click on the movie icon next to the cannulation event to view the
animation.
Positive and negative critical and non-critical assessment headings are displayed below the cannulation
events. Critical errors are vital to proper performance of the procedure. Depending on the configu-
