5. Pallas Back Accessories
Baking compartment
The Pallas Back is different from the Pallas due to its fully functional baking compartment.
This baking compartment is heated from four sides (from left, right, behind and below). Hint: in order to achieve the
most even distribution of heat, the food to be heated should be turned after half of the baking time has been reached.
The temperature in the baking compartment is regulated by the amount of fuel used and the air control sliders (see
Fig. 2). The actual temperature can be read on the baking-compartment thermometer (accessory).
Clean the inside of the baking compartment, as you would do with other stove components (see above). Avoid fat-
containing vapours, because these leave deposits that are very difficult to clean off.
