VAST PVR FUNCTIONS
- Insert the hard drive’s USB cable into the USB port on the
- Turn on the hard drive’s power switch (if applicable).

- The hard drive format will take a few minutes. Once completed, the HDD Status should say
“Connected and working”

RECORDING
There are a number of ways to schedule
a recording.
Instant Record
- If you want to record the program you are
currently watching, press the record
on the remote control.
- A record start icon will appear and a red
dot will appear in the iplate that
the event is recording.
- Scroll in the TV Guide to highlight the
program you would like to record,

that recording is scheduled.
