Setting parental controls

4 Press the number buttons to enter the four-digit password. The
Setup-Parental menu opens.
5 Press or to highlight Button Lock, then press or to
select On (locks the buttons), or Off (unlocks the buttons).
6 Press EXIT to close the menu.
Setting parental control levels
You can set parental controls for the U.S. and Canada.
The following task shows how to set controls for U.S. TV ratings. You use
similar steps for setting U.S. movie and Canadian TV ratings.
To set parental control levels:
1 Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens.
2 Press or to highlight Setup, then press . The Setup menu
opens.
3 Press to highlight Parental, then press ENTER. The Input
Password screen opens.
4 Press the number buttons to enter the four-digit password. The
Setup-Parental menu opens.
5 Press or to highlight Program Block. The Program Block
menu opens with Rating Enable highlighted.
6 Press
or to
select On or Off.
7 Press or to highlight US TV Ratings, US Movie Ratings,
Canadian English Ratings, or Canadian French Ratings,
then press or ENTER. If you highlighted US TV Ratings, the
TV Rating sub-menu opens.
8 Press or to highlight the rating you want to block, then
press ENTER. A lock symbol appears when a rating is blocked.
9 Press EXIT to close the menu.
