This appliance is designed for processing

normal household quantities in the home or

similar quantities in non-industrial applications.

Non-industrial applications include e.g. use in

employee kitchens in shops, offices, agri­
cultural and other commercial businesses, as

well as use by guests in boarding houses, small

hotels and similar dwellings.

Use the appliance for processing normal

quantities of food for domestic use. These

operating instructions refer to various models.

An overview of the different models can be

found on the illustrated pages.

place. If passing on the appliance to a third
party, always include the operating instruc­

tions.

1 Blender foot/gear attachment

Attach the blender foot/gear attachment

and lock into position.

2 ON button

a Controllable speed (with speed control 3)

b Turbo speed

The hand blender remains switched on as

long as the On button (a or b) is pressed.

3 Speed control +/-

The speed can be adjusted steplessly (only

in conjunction with button

a).

Rotate towards - reduces the speed.

Rotate towards + increases the speed.

4 Release buttons

Simultaneously press the release buttons to

remove the blender foot/gear attachment.

5 Blender foot

Plastic (a) or metal (b)

(depending on model).

6 Whisk with gear attachment

Whisk (a) must lock into position in the gear

attachment (b).

7 Blender jug with lid

Using the blender jug (a) will prevent the

ingredients from splashing. Place the lid (b)

on the blender jug to keep in the proces­
sed ingredients.

8 Universal cutter (a) with attachment (b),

lid (c) and ice crusher blade (d)

Place cutting attachment on the universal

cutter and rotate in a clockwise direction

until it “clicks” into position. Place the lid on

the universal cutter to keep in the

processed ingredients.

If the universal cutter is not included with the

hand blender (see overview of models), it can
be ordered from customer service (order no.

48 0397; ice crusher blade not included).

With the universal cutter use the appliance at full

power to cut dried fruit or to prepare honey

spread (according to the recipe).

9 Wall holder

For storing the hand blender. Attach the

wall holder to a suitable vertical surface
with

screws.

Keep children away from the appliance.
Do not allow persons (also children) with res­

edge to operate the appliance unless they are
supervised or have been instructed in the use
of the appliance by somebody who is respon­
sible for their safety.

After using the appliance, before cleaning

the appliance, if leaving the appliance atten­

ded or if the appliance malfunctions, always
pull out the plug.

Do not pull the cord over sharp edges or hot

surfaces.
