DELTA 250 ONLY
DIGITAL CONNECTIONS
The Delta 250 is fitted with a choice of 3
digital
connectors. Use
the appropriate
connector for your DAC.
PHONO OUTPUT - Connect to the
DAC's digital input using a suitable
digital cable. Both outputs are identical
and can be connected simultaneously if
necessary.
©
BNC OUTPUT - Connect to your
DAC's BNC digital input (if fitted)
using a suitable digital cable. This
output generally gives better results
than output ©.
©
OPTICAL OUTPUT - Connect to
your DAC's optical input (if fitted)
using a suitable Toslink type optical
cable. You should try digical outputs
d), © and optical output ® to
determine which you prefer.
SYNC LOCK INPUT - Connect to an
Arcani Black Box fitted with the Sync
Lock facility using a suitable Toslink
type optical cable. The Sync Lock
connection synchronises the Delta 250
and the Black Box automaricaHy. The
Sync Lock led (light emitting diode) on
the Black Box's firom panel will confirm
this.
Using the Sync Lock connection
removes the timing erron generated in
the digital signal connections, and
should be used in order to achieve the
very best sound quality.

OPTICAL
OUTPUT MODULE - The AT&T
optical system offers superior sound
quality compared to the Toslink system
due to its wider bandwidth. It has the
advantage over the co-axial outputs by
being virtually interference free.
It
can rival, and in many cases surpass
the quality of the co-axial outputs. If
your DAC is fitted with an AT&T
input you may wish to take advantage
of its benefits. The AT&T module is
available as an optional extra, and can.
be supplied and fitted by an Arcani
dealer.
