[IN USE] indicator lights when a call is in progress.
INOSVCI (no service) indicator Mghts when the unit is in a
non-coverage area.
IROAMI indicator h^ts when the unit is out of the home
indicator lights when the unit is locked.
(ll is used as a POWER ON indicator which hghts
when the unit is turned on.
RECEIVING SIGNAL STRENGTH INDICATOR:
The number of shaded blocks indicates the Receiv­
ing Signal Strength.
B ■ ■ 11 is used as a battery level indicator.
8-CHARACTER FUNCTIONAL DIGIT DISPLAY:
The remaining character show the last digits of the
dialed number.
® informs that the microphone has been switched
off.
(10) (send key) is used for placing or receiving a
call.
(11) (power on/off key) is used to turn on/off the unit.
(12) © One Touch Emergency key.
(13) DIGIT KEYS to enter a phone number.
(14) (end key) terminate a call.
(15) ® (recalVstore key)
• To recall phone numbers from repertory mem­
ory, press ®.
■ To store phone numbers in repertory memory,
press
(16) © (one-touch key) allows you to place a call with
a single key stroke.
(17) @1 (clear key) clears the digit(s) from the display.
(18) @ (function key) shifts the digit keys to the func­
tional keys.
(19) ® (volume key) is used to control Earpiece audio
level as well as the Alert Tone.
■ Earphone Mic Jack is used for handsfree operation
with EM-425 Earphone Mic (option).
