1. Fault in hot surface ignition system ...
a. H ot surface ignitor glows but no ignition and H SI m odule "LOC KS-O UT" ("red" L.E.D. [light
em itting diode] indicator flashes)...
1) Flam e probe assem bly is out of adjustm ent or has failed.
2) Severe air turbulence.
3) Failed H SI m odule.
4) Failed gas valve.
b. H ot surface ignitor glows, but burner goes off right away ...
1) Flam e probe assem bly is out of adjustm ent or has failed.
2) Sail switch is fluttering ...
a) Lint screen is dirty.
b) Restriction in exhaust duct work.
c. H ot surface ignitor does not glow and H SI m odule "LO CK S-O UT" ("red" L.E.D. indicator flashes) ...
