LIMITED WARRANTY

Poulan, a division of Husqvarna Outdoor

Products Inc., warrants to the original con­

sumer purchaser that each new Poufan
brand gasoline chain saw is free from de­

fects in materia! and workmanship and

agrees to repair or replace under this war­
ranty any defective gasoline chain saw as

foltows from the original date of purchase.

1 YEAR - Parts and Labor, when used for

househoid purposes.

60 DAYS - Parts and Labor, when used for

commercial, professionai, or income pro­
ducing purposes.

30 DAYS - Paris and Labor, if used for rental

purposes.

This warranty is not transferable and does

not cover damage or liability caused by im­
proper handling, improper maintenance or
alteration, or the use of accessories and/or
attachments not specifically recommended
by Poulan for this chain saw. This warranty
does not cover tune-up. spark plugs, filters,
starter ropes, chain sharpening, bars,
chains, and other parts which wear and re­
quire replacement with reasonable use dur­
ing the warranty period. This warranty does
not cover predelivery setup, installation of
guide bar and chain, and normal adjust­
ments explained in the instruction manual
such as chain tension adjustments. This

warranty does not cover transportation

costs.

I n the event you have a claim under this war­

ranty, you must return the product to an au­

thorized service dealer.

prove its products. Therefore, Poulan re­

serves the rightto change, modify, or discon­
tinue models, designs, specifications, and
accessories of alt products at any time with­
out notice or obligation to any purchaser.

EMISSION CONTROL WARRANTY STATEMENT

YOUR WARRANTY RIGHTS AND OBLIGA­
TIONS:
The U. S. Environmental Protection
Agency, Environment Canada and Pouian are

pleased to explain the emissions control sys­

tem warranty on your year 2007 and iater small

off-road engine. Poulan must warrant the
emission control system on your small off-road
engine for the periods of time listed below pro­

vided there has been no abuse, neglect, or im­

proper maintenance of your small off-road en­
gine. Your emission control system includes
parts such as the carburetor and the ignition
system. Where a warrantable condition exists,

Poulan will repair your small off-road engine at

no cost to you. Expenses covered under war­
ranty include diagnosis, parts and labor.
MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY COVER­

AGE: If any emissions related part on your en­

gine (as listed under Emissions Control War­
ranty Parts List) is defective or a defect in the
materials or workmanship of the engine
causes the failure of such an emission related
part, the part will be repaired or replaced by

TIES: As the small off-road engine owner,
you are responsible for the performance of
the required maintenance listed in your in­
struction manual. Pouian recommends that
you retain all receipts covering maintenance
on your smaii off-road engine, but Poulan
cannot deny warranty solely for the lack of

receipts or for your failure to ensure the per­

formance of all scheduled maintenance. As
the small off-road engine owner, you should

be aware that Poulan may deny you warran­

ty coverage if your small off- road engine ora

part of it has failed due to abuse, neglect, im­
proper maintenance, unapproved modifica­

tions, or the use of parts not made or ap­

proved

by

the

original

equipment

manufacturer. You are responsible for pre­

senting your smalt off-road engine to an

Poulan authorized repai r center as soon as a
problem exists. Warranty repairs should be

completed in a reasonable amount of time,

not to exceed 30 days, if you have any ques­

tions regarding your warranty rights and re­
