Do not drain fuel while smoking, or
if near an open fire.
Step 2. Drain all the oil from the crankcase (this
should be done after the engine has been
operated and is still warm) and refill the
crankcase with clean new oil.
Step 3. Disconnect the spark plug wire and
remove the spark plug from the cylinder.
Pour about six drops of engine oil into
the cylinder, and then pull the recoil
starter several times to spread the oil on
the cylinder wall. Replace the spark plug,
but DO NOT connect the wire.
Step 4. Clean the engine and the entire mower
thoroughly.
Step 5. Lubricate all lubrication points indicated
in figures 16 and 17 then wipe the entire
machine with an oiled rag in order to
protect the surfaces.
