Changing the light bulb
Caution; Disconnect power-line plug from
electrical outlet before removing old bulb.
The screw located on the machine face plate must
be removed before the face plate can be opened.
• Remove face plate.
Removing Bulb: Press bulb into socket and at the
same time turn bulb in direction shown to
unlock bulb pin. (Do not attempt to unscrew the
light bulb).
Note: This machine is designed to use a 15 watt
maximum light bulb.
Replacing bulb: Press new bulb into socket, with
bulb pin entering slot of socket, and turn it in
direction shown to lock bulb in position. Replace
face plate.
Cleaning the machine
Your machine is designed to give you many
years of dependable service. To ensure this
reliability, take a few minutes to keep the
machine clean.
The machine surfaces and covers can be
cleaned when necessary, with a damp, soft
cloth and a mild soap.
Remove lint and fluff from exposed parts and,
with a lint brush clean these parts:
• Tension discs.
Take-up lever and thread guides.
• Presser and needle bars.

de luz
Nota: Desenchufar la máquina de la toma
corriente antes de retirar el foco de luz.
Hace falta sacar el tornillo colocado en la placa
frontal de la máquina antes de poder abrir la placa
frontal.
• Quitar la cubierta frontal.
Para retirar el foco de luz: Empuje el foco hacia
arriba y al mismo tiempo gírela en la dirección
ilustrada para desenganchar los pernos. (Nota: El
foco no va enroscado).
Nota: El foco de luz no debe ser de más de 15
wattios como máximo.
Para colocar el foco de luz: Inserte el nuevo foco
dentro de la ranura del Porta-foco empuje hacia
arriba girando al mismo tiempo en la dirección
ilustrada hasta que enganche en el porta-foco.
Colocar la tapa frontal.
Limpieza de ia máquina
Su máquina está diseñada para asegurarle un
servicio seguro durante muchos años. Para
asegurar esta realidad, dedíquela unos minutos
para limpiarla.
La superficie de la máquina y las cubiertas se
pueden limpiar cuando sea necesario, con un
trapo húmedo y blando y con jabón suave.
Quite la hilaza y pelusa de las piezas que se
ven y con una escobilla limpiadora, limpie
estas partes.
• Discos de tensión.
• Palanca tira-hilos y guías del hilo.
• Barra prénsatelas y de aguja.
