Four-Step
buttonhole
(4525 only)
Your machine makes buttonholes to any
size you choose in only four, easy steps.
• You never need to move the fabric or repo
sition the needle.
• Always make a practice buttonhole on a
sample of your fabric.
• Be sure bobbin contains enough thread.
• When making buttonholes on hard-to-
reach areas convert machine bed to free
arm sewing.
• Mark buttonhole position on fabric as indi
cated In pattern.

Step A
Raise presser foot.
Place fabric under foot.
Centre 3 red guidelines (
1
) of foot around
beginning line of buttonhole.
Turn buttonhole dial to the buttonhole symbol
(A) for the first step.
Position needle in fabric at point (2) by
turning the hand wheel towards you.
Stitch down to point 3.
StepB
• Raise needle out of fabric.
• Turn buttonhole dial to the buttonhole symbol
(B) for the second step.
• Make at least four stitches, ending at point (4).
Ojales en

Su máquina hace ojales al tamaño deseado
en sólo cuatro tiempos.
•
No necesita jamás mover el tejido o
cambiar la aguja.
• Antes de realizar un ojal, haga una prueba
en un trozo del tejido a utilizar.
• Asegúrese de que la bobina contiene
suficiente hilo.
• Al realizar ojales en áreas de acceso difícil,
convierta la máquina para costura con
base libre.
• Marque sobre el tejido la posición del ojal
como se indica en el diseño.

Levante el prénsatelas.
Coloque el tejido debajo del prénsatelas.
Centre las 3 líneas-guía rojas (

) del
prénsatelas, con la línea de comienzo del
ojal.
Gire el mando para ojales hacia el primer
símbolo (A) del ojal para realizar el primer
tiempo.
Colocar la aguja en el tejido sobre el punto
(2) girando el volante del mano hacía Vd.
Cosa hasta el punto (3).
Tiempo B
• Saque la aguja del tejido.
• Gire el mando para ojales hacía el símbolo (B)
del ojal para realizar el segundo tiempo.
• De un mínimo de cuatro puntadas,
terminando en el punto (4).
