Chapter 6 Operating Procedures

❏ Fingerprint Authentication (Only

Available with the ScanFront 220P)

Use the procedure below for fingerprint authentication.
For details on fingerprint registration,

see “Fingerprint

Registration (Only Available with the ScanFront 220P)”
on p. 6-10

1.

Press [Fingerprint Authentication].

The authentication mode screen appears.

2.

Perform fingerprint authentication using the finger
with the registered fingerprint.

IMPORTANT

Perform finger authentication by gently pressing the finger while
slowly sweeping it at a constant speed to scan the fingerprint.

3.

The Home screen (or Job Button screen) appears if
the fingerprint is authenticated correctly.

Hint

If fingerprint authentication fails, try sweeping your finger again.
