5C. WATER FLOW THROUGH THE SOFTENER VALVE
FAST RINSE CYCLE
POSITION
During FAST RINSE, the rotor & disc is positioneci so water flow enters the
resin tank through the top distributor, anci exits through the bottom
distributor, to the drain.
The solid state timer again energizes the motor to return the valve to
service, and as the valve rotates, the position switch lever drops to open the
circuit. The valve remains positioned in service until the timer initiates the
next regeneration.
