OPERATING PROCEDURES

, Beiore plugging in ttie air compressor, set the adjust­

able pres^re valve “Start”. M^e ^re the
OFP switch is in the 'OFP position.

SL Connect the air hose to ^ air outlet adapter. Tighten

securely.

3. Connect the air tool or s^essory to the air hose.

Tighten securely.

^ the |K>wer cord into the grounded outlet.

5. Start the compressor by setting the "ON-OFP switch

to the “ON" position.

AN AIR TOOL OR VEHICLE TIRE TO RUP­
TURE OR EXPLODE. CAREFULLY FOLLOW

STEPS 6 AND 7 EACH TIME YOU USE YOUR
COMPRESSOR.

for the air tool, accessory or vehicle tire being used.
The air compressor outlet pressure must never

Compressed air from the outfit may contain
water condensation and oif mist. Do not
spray unflltered air at an Item that could be
damaged.

DURING MAINTENANCE, YOU COULD BE EXPOSED TO VOLTAGE SOURCES, COMPRESSED

AIR OR MOVING PARTS. PERSONAL INJURIES CAN OCCUR. UNPLUG THE COMPRESSOR
AND BLEED OFF ALL AIR PRESSURE BY TURNING THE ADJUSTABLE PRESSURE VALVE TO
THE START POSITION BEFORE DOING ANY MAINTENANCE OR REPAIR.

Air In^ke Filter - Refilacement

NOTE

Keep air Int^ filler dean at di times. Do not

operate the compressor with die filter removed.

A dirty air intoke fitter w'll not allow die compressor to
operate at full capacity.

pull it out

repiatte with a new one. if it Is dirty, simply

pull It out - you may wash it witfi a mild detergent and

warn) water.

Motor

The motor has an automadc reset tfierma) overload pro-
teedr. If the motor overheats for any leasm, die over­

load protector will shut off die motor. The motor must be

allowed to cooi. The motor will automatically re-start
aftm^ the motcr has cooled.

NOTE

If the oitedoad protector shute dw motor off fre-

quendy, chedc tor a possibte voltage

Low voltes can aid} be suspected when;

1. the motor does not get up to toll power or

speed;

2. ftxses blow out when staffing the motor;

3. lights dim and remain dim when motor is

stdied and running.
