SETUP
Enter Setup mode to adjust the various internal settings
of the player. Make sure the player has been completely
stopped before entering Setup mode.
Press SETUP to enter Setup mode.
Use the Navigation Keypad to select a desired item.
Press
to confirm a selection.
Press SETUP to exit Setup mode (or select EXIT
and press ).
Language Settings
Use the Navigation Keypad to highlight the desired language selection and press
to confirm.
Item Description Default Setting
OSD
Sets the language of the player’s on-screen
display.
English
Disc Menu Sets the default menu language of loaded DVDs. English
Audio
Sets the default language audio track of loaded
DVDs.

Subtitle Sets the default subtitle track of loaded DVDs. English
Display Settings
Use the Navigation Keypad to highlight the desired display selection and press
to confirm.

TV Display
Sets the aspect ratio of the display. 4:3 is used
with standard television displays; 16:9 is used
with widescreen television displays.
4:3L-Box (Letterbox)
TV System
Sets the player’s Video Out signal type. Set this
to correspond with your TV’s Video System type.
NTSC is the standard used in North America.

Video Out
Sets your player’s video output mode. Set this to
correspond with the type of connection used with
your TV.
S-Video+CVBS: S-Video or Composite Video
P-Scan: Component Video (Progressive Scan)
YUV: Component Video
S-Video+CVBS
HDMI Video
Sets the HDMI video output mode. HDMI Video
must be enabled for DVD upconversion.
Auto
Angle Mark
Displays an on-screen prompt whenever an alter-
nate angle becomes available for viewing (press
ANGLE to view).
