3 DIVING WITH SUUNTO ELEMENTUM AQUA
3.1 Before diving
Before diving, check that:
●
time and date are correctly set (if you have been traveling between different
time zones).
●
the battery level is not too low (see Section 4.1 Battery replacement).
●
the device displays the correct units of measurement (metric/imperial).
3.2 Starting a dive
Suunto Elementum Aqua switches into
DIVE
mode when it is in contact with
water and reaches depth more than 0.6 m. The symbol on the display indicates
water contact. After you reach depth more than 1.2 m, Suunto Elementum
Aqua automatically starts recording your dive time.
