Charging the Group.X Audio System

The Group.X Aqua is powered by two 12 Volt DC, 3.5 amp-hour batteries, yielding an
average 6 - 8 hours of operation, depending on useage.

Prior to battery operation, allow the batteries to charge for 10 hours with the main
power off.

The Group.X Aqua features an active battery monitor to check battery status at
a glance. As battery power is depleted, remaining power will be indicated in
the RECHARGEABLE BATTERY LEVEL METER. To ensure un-interruped use, it is
recommended that the batteries be charged when the meter falls to 50% or below.

Wireless System Operation

The basics -

A wireless microphone system consists of three elements:

* audio source

(H2O waterproof headworn microphone)

* transmitter

(Aqua808 waterproof bodypack)

* receiver

(integrated with the Group.X audio unit)

The transmitter sends the audio signal on a specified radio frequency, which can
then by picked up by the receiver. Note that the transmitter and receiver MUST be
operating on the same frequency. This can be thought of in relation to television
channels - if you want to get the signal from channel 10, your television (the
receiver) must be tuned to channel 10.

A receiver can reliably process the signal from one transmitter at a time - if you have
more than one transmitter on the same frequency, the unused transmitters MUST
be powered off.

Wireless systems operate in the same frequency space as broadcast television.
For this reason, some care should be taken in selecting an operating frequency
that is not in use in your area- a qualified dealer can assist in this. Your Group.X
Aqua wireless system has been set at the factory prior to shipping. This cannot be
changed by the user.
