5.3 ISOFIX base installation in the vehicle
rearward facing for children 9 to 13 kg
If your car is equipped with ISOFIX anchor
points, you can install the cocoon genius using
the ISOFIX anchor points in combination with the
support leg. To check whether your car is suitable
for ISOFIX attachment and the support leg, refer
to your motor dealer.
• Place the seat on the floor face down; you
are facing the under side of the seat base.
• Install the ISOFIX base into the seat, by
inserting the three hooks into the seat base.
(5P) The ISOFIX connectors are facing
downward.
• Turn the Tensioner handle 180 degrees to
secure the connection between the ISOFIX
and seat. (5Q)
• Put the seat rearward facing in your car.
Lock the two ISOFIX connectors into the
ISOFIX anchorages in your car seat. Use
the supplied ISOFIX anchor guides. (5R)
• When the connectors are locked on the
anchorages, the ISOFIX indicator will turn
green (5R)
• Extend the floor support leg fully, adjust the
height of the floorsupport leg to make sure
the leg reaches the floor of your car.
• To remove the cocoon genius and base from
your car just pull back the ISOFIX release
buttons. (see 5.Q)
