W 'ith the Rem inder control
ON the TV automatically
shows you the current tim e and
channel every thirty m inutes.
(BEGIN]
Press the MENU (M) button
on the remote, then press the
MENU A or T buttons to select
the word REMINDER with the
TV’s on-screen arrow.
Press the (+) button to turn
REMINDER ON.
Press STATUS button to
clear the screen.
Remember,
if Closed ~
Captioning is ON,
neither the Channel
Reminder or the
"MUTE" sound indi­
cator will show on
the TV screen.

TT'or our French and Spanish
JL speaking TV owners an on­
screen LANGUAGE option is pre­
sent. W ith the LANG UAG E con­
trol you can set the TV's on-screen
features to be shown in either
English, French, or Spanish text.

Press the MENU (M) button
on the remote, then press the
MENU A or T buttons to select
the word LANGUAGE with the
TV’s on-screen arrow.
Press the (+) button to select
either the English, French
(FRANÇAIS), or Spanish
(ESPAÑOL) language option.
Text for the on-screen Menu will
change to the selected language.
Press STATUS to clear the
screen.

through Setup (in

Guide), this task has
already been complet­
ed for you.
The Language control
only makes the TV's
on-screen (MENU)
items appear in
French or Spanish
text. It does not
change the language
of other on-screen
text features such as
Closed Captioned
(CC)TV shows.
