4.6.2 Hydraulic Plumbing
WARNING!
From this point in the installation the
booms will be inoperative until the
electronics are fully installed.
You must also ensure there are
no other orifices present in the
circuit between the NORAC
valve block and the boom
cylinders.
1. After the NORAC valves are mounted,
the hydraulic hoses and fittings can be
plumbed. The plumbing for the hydraulic
circuit is shown schematically in Figure
3.
2. The “raise” lines from the side of the
boom tilt cylinders, must be connected
to the “B” ports of the NORAC valve
block via the existing lines and the
6FJXR-6MJT fittings (F03) provided.
The 6FJXR-6MJT fittings are also mated
with the original Summers’ valve block.
3. NORAC supplies two new hydraulic
hoses (H03) to run to F03. Route the
lines from the NORAC valve block to
the Summers’ valve block and tee into
F03 as shown in Figure 3.
4. Connect the two remaining hoses
(Item H02) to the Pressure (“P”) and
Tank (“T”) ports on the NORAC valve
block (V01). Route both of these lines
to the sprayer’s hitch for connection
with the tractor’s pressure and tank
fittings.
5. Attach hose H03 to port “B” on the
expansion block. Route the free end of
the hose (H03) to the Summers valve
block.
6. Remove the main lift hose from the
Summers valve block.
7. Place the 6FJXR 6MJT tee fitting (*F02)
on the main lift fitting in the Summers
block.
8. Attach the Summers main lift hose and
hose H03 to the tee fitting.
