8.3 Hydraulic Plumbing
From this point on in the installation the booms will be inoperative until the
hydraulics are fully installed.
1. After the NORAC valves are mounted, the hydraulic hoses and fittings can be plumbed. The
plumbing for the hydraulic circuit is shown schematically in Figure 3.
2. Connect hoses H02 to the pressure and tank ports on the NORAC valve block (V01) using
the 6MOR-6FORX90 fittings (F02).
3. Tee hoses H02 into the pressure and tank ports on the sprayer valve block with the
6MOR-8FORX fittings (F04) and the 8FORXR-8MORT fittings (F05).
4. Disconnect the existing tilt “raise” lines from the John Deere valve block. Remove the
existing 4MB–4MOR fittings from the John Deere valve block.
5. Insert the 4MB-4MOR orifice fittings (F06) into the John Deere valve block.
6. Insert the 4FORXR-4MORT fittings (F03) between the orifice fittings (F06) in the John
Deere valve block and the existing “raise” lines to the tilt cylinders.
7. Connect the 90° end of hose H01 to the 4FORXR-4MORT fittings (F03). Connect the
straight end of hose H01 to the “B” ports (F07) on the NORAC valve block.
8. Remove the existing “raise” lines and fittings from the tilt cylinders. Remove the threaded
orifice in the cavity of the tilt cylinder port (Figure 24). Reconnect the fittings and “raise”
lines to the tilt cylinders.
