Additional Safety Measures
If operation of the ADM51 in-circuit emulator is required with a powered meter, it is recommended to isolate the
in-circuit emulator from the host PC, using a USB isolator with separate power supply. USB isolators are available
from various vendors. For example, the UH401-2KV is available at B&B Electronics
•
Isolation may also help eliminate problems stemming from different ground connections of meter Demo Board
and PC. USB isolators supporting USB1.1 are sufficient to control the ADM51. The devices offered by IFTOOLS
and by B&B Electronics are compatible with USB 2.0.
Proper isolation is the sole responsibility of the end user. TERIDIAN cannot be held responsible for
damages or injuries caused by lack of electrical isolation.
TERIDIAN Semiconductor Corporation (TSC) reserves the right to make changes in specifications at any time without notice. Accordingly,
the reader is cautioned to verify that the information is current before placing orders. TERIDIAN assumes no liability for applications
