Description of Change: The use of polypropylene vent material has been accepted by CSA for use with exhaust
and combustion on NeoTherm and Mascot II appliances. The polypropylene component manufacturer shall have ULC-
S636 approval with a recognized listing agency for all components used in the venting system. All components used
must be from the same manufacturer and designed for use with exhaust temperatures at or below 195°F (90°C).
Please reference the current edition of the appliance installation and operation instructions for proper vent sizing.
Only approved pipe diameters, lengths, and, arrangements associated with the specific model size allowed.
The installer shall refer to the polypropylene component manufacturer's approved installation and application
instructions for their specific assembly requirements.

recommends installation of suitable Carbon Monoxide detectors in the vicinity of this appliance and in any adjacent
occupied spaces.
