Canon, the company that has pioneered much of the calculator

added enhanced features to many of our new calculators.
The time calculation feature simplifies any calculation where
time-based fee structures are needed. The battery strength
indicator alerts you to low battery power which may cause
printing problems. The power save feature reduces power
consumption while the calculator is idle. Check out the
