• Check to make sure the main power switch is set to the

"OFF" position before connecting the AC power cord.

Installing Modules into the MCR-R15

• Turn OFF the Converter Rack power.

• The MCR-R15 media converter rack is designed to only

support the IFS MCR Series media converter modules.
Ensure that you are installing only media converters within
the IFS MCR Series product family.

• Insert the MCR Series media converter with the +5VDC

power connection end first. The +5VDC power receptacle
of the module should be near the bottom of the rack when
installing.

• Carefully slide the media converter into the rack making

sure the power connection is securely made.

• Push up the retaining bar to lock the converters.

• Ensure that there is no activity on the network.
