About this Manual
Document Objectives
The Cisco ONS 15310-CL and Cisco ONS 15310-MA Reference Manual provides hardware and software
reference information for Cisco ONS 15310 nodes and networks. Use this manual in conjunction with
the appropriate publications listed in the
section.
Audience
To use this publication, you should be familiar with Cisco or equivalent optical transmission hardware
and cabling, telecommunications hardware and cabling, electronic circuitry and wiring practices, and
preferably have experience as a telecommunications technician.
