Press the PWR button to turn the GR968 ON or OFF.

Press the SEL button briefly to select the next available
control. The options available are Volume, Bass, Treble,
Balance and Fader.
- Press and hold the SEL button for 2 seconds. In this
mode you can apply a beep to all, secondary or none of
the buttons using the VOL and VOL buttons.
- In MP3 mode, the SEL button is used to select the
letter or number of the file or directory you are
searching for.

Press the BND/LOU button briefly to set the frequency
band to F1, F2, F3 or MW (AM).
- Press and hold the BND/LOU button for 2 seconds
to turn the loudness function on. Repeat to turn the
loudness function off again.
- In MP3 mode, the BND/LOU button is used as the
ENTER button to confirm the file or directory you are
searching for.

Press the EQ (Equalisation) button briefly to select the
desired audio mode. The options available are Flat,
Classics, Pop M, Rock M, and DSP (Audio Digital Signal
Processor) Off.

In radio mode, press the AMS button briefly to step
through the stations in the preset memories, pausing
briefly on each station.
- Press and hold the AMS button for 2 seconds to
automatically locate and store the 6 strongest local
stations on the selected band into the preset
station memories.
- In MP3 mode, press the AMS button to search for a
specific file or directory.

Press the PAU (pause) button briefly to pause the CD or
MP3. Press this button again to resume playing the CD
or MP3.

Press the SCN (scan) button to play the first 10 seconds
of each track on the CD or MP3.

The RPT (repeat) button causes the current track on the
CD or MP3 to be played repeatedly.

Press the SHF (shuffle) button to play all the tracks on
the CD or MP3 in random order.

Buttons 1 to 6 are used to store and access preset
station memories.
- To store a preset station in memory, select the required
station, then press and hold the preset memory button
for 2 seconds.
- To recall a station from the preset memory, press a
preset memory button briefly.
- In MP3 mode, these buttons are used for searching for
files or directories.

The MOD button allows you to switch between Radio
mode and CD mode or Radio mode and MP3 mode.
- In MP3 mode, press the MOD button to search for a
specific file or directory.

speakers so that you can monitor its progress.

Press the button to stop and eject the CD. The unit
automatically returns to radio mode.
REMOVING AND REFITTING THE FACE PANEL
Removal
Before removing the face panel, turn
the
unit OFF by pressing the PWR button.
1. Press the release button to
release the left hand end of the
face panel.
2. Lift the face panel out towards you.
After removing the face panel,
place it inside the supplied case
to protect it from damage. Do not
leave it in a position where it could
be exposed to direct sunlight.
