CAUTION: The bridle webbing
must be held securely in place to
avoid excess friction during
rescue deployment. The bridle
must be held firmly in place with
rubber bands, tape or plastic
heat shrink tube.
Bridle to rescue attachment
Attach the Y bridle to the maillon
and secure it with a rubber band Bridle attachment Attach the rescue to the maillon
and secure with a rubber band Check your connection and close
the maillon firmly

Maillon connection
A Maillon Rapide type connector is recommended. The connector should be rated at least 9 times
the maximum weight, for example, a correctly fitted 8mm Stainless Steel square Maillon.
