■ Tips to Make the Battery Last Longer
• If you do not need the flash while recording, select
(flash off) for the flash mode. See page 63 for more
information.
• Enable the Auto Power Off and the Sleep features (page
43) to protect against wasting battery power when you
forget to turn off the camera.
• Use the “0” monitor screen brightness setting to consume
less power (page 170).
3. Release the stopper and pull the battery from
the camera.
• Take care so you do not drop the battery.
4. Load a new battery into the camera (page 32).
To replace the battery
1. Open the battery cover.
2. Pull the stopper in the direction indicated by
the arrow.
• This will cause the battery to come part way out of
the slot.
Stopper
